Overview
Day 1: Delhi arrival
Tour with Tour Waves begins with arrival in Delhi. Welcome and transfer to the pre-booked hotel by our representative. Spend the rest of the day in leisure activities. There is a lot to explore in Delhi from the bustling Khari Baoli Spice Market to the Delhi nightlife that is very energetic and lively. You can visit the famous Hauz Khas Village and enjoy some unparallel taste of a variety of cuisines in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and head to explore the rich heritage of this city. Delhi is known to be a very old city and has witnessed the reign of different rulers since centuries. The historical monuments that you will visit are the Lal Quila (Red Fort), Jama Masjid and the magnificent Humayun’s Tomb. Then a drive past the India Gate, President’s House and Parliament House followed by a visit to the Connaught Place Market. Return to the hotel and retire for the night.
Note- Red Fort remains closed on Mondays.
Day 3: Travel from Delhi to Agra (231 kms)
Beginning a smooth ride from Delhi, reach Agra in the afternoon which is the second destination of the Golden Triangle India Tour. Have lunch, relish delicious Mughal cuisines and leave for a visit to the Agra Fort. In the evening visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal and enjoy the beauty of this wondrous white marble monument and its premises. At night stay in the hotel in Agra.
Note- Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.
Day 4: Travel from Agra to Jaipur (241 kms)
The day begins with a delicious breakfast followed by drive towards Jaipur. En-route visit to the famous historical city of Fatehpur Sikri and explore the Fort of Fatehpur Sikri which is also a World Heritage Site declared by UNECSO. The must visit in the complex is Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Mariyam-uz-Zamani’s Palace, Birbal’s Palace, etc. Reach and check into the pre-booked hotel in Jaipur. Spend the remaining time as per your convenience either in relaxing or exploring the Pink City. Jaipur is a shopper’s paradise; there are a lot of things one can buy from the street markets of Jaipur. It is well known for blue pottery, Kundan jewellery, puppets, leather shoes called Mojaris, tie and die work garments, colorful dresses and much more to look for.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing
The whole day of Golden Triangle India Tour with Tour Waves will be spent in sightseeing the beautiful city of Jaipur. In the morning visit to the marvelous Amer Fort on an elephant ride, en-route halt by the Jal Mahal (Water Palace) situated in the Man Sagar Lake. Visit to the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, then to the Indo-Saracenic architecture marvel, the Albert Hall Museum to know more about the cultural heritage of Rajasthan. You can spend the remaining time shopping the beautiful hand-crafted items in Jaipur or you can pay a visit to the beautiful Chauki Dhani Village in Jaipur and have some mesmerizing experiences. Stay at the hotel during the night.
Day 6: Departure
Get ready and check out from the Hotel in Jaipur. Drive and drop at the Delhi Airport for journey onwards. With this the Golden Triangle India Tour ends and we promise to give you the best service experiences on India Tour and Travel with Tour Waves.
