Overview
Experience a Jeep Safari in the Wildlife hub of India, Ranthambore. In India Ranthambore is among the first tiger reserves which helped in increasing the rehabilitation and breeding of the Royal Bengal Tigers. These are protected species and later the tiger reserve was declared as a national park due to the fact that it is brimming with different species of flora, fauna and avifauna. Tour Highlights-
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Arrival will be scheduled on Delhi Airport in the beginning. Tour Waves representative will meet and greet and transfer you to the reserved hotel. Check in and relax after the travel. In the evening you may explore the colorful and bustling markets of Delhi.
Day 2: Excursion in Delhi
Start the day with a healthy and delicious breakfast and then get set to explore the national capital. In the morning visit Qutub Minar, one of the oldest monuments in Delhi, it is a World Heritage Site as declared by UNESCO. Then visit the Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple and Humayun’s Tomb. In the evening drive past India Gate, Parliament House and President’s House. Night stay in the hotel.
Day 3: Transfer to Agra (232 kms)
Early morning transfer to Agra after breakfast. Check in the hotel and fresh yourself. Then head to Agra Fort for a visit, followed by visit to the Baby Taj, Itmad-ud-Daulah and the Taj Mahal. In the evening have dinner and rest in the hotel.
Day 4: Transfer to Ranthambore via Fatehpur Sikri (294 kms)
In the morning you will have a visit to the Taj Mahal during sunrise, to witness its beauty in bright sunlight. Proceed towards next destination Ranthambore. En-route Ranthambore, take a halt in Fatehpur Sikri, also called Ghost Town due to the remains of the abandoned Fatehpur Sikri Fort. On reaching Ranthambore, check in the hotel and take rest.
Day 5: Jungle Safari in Ranthambore
Early in the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast and head to the thrilling Ranthambore National Park. Our representative will help you with the ticket reservations. Then you will enjoy a Jeep Safari in Ranthambore National Park. The area of approximately 400 sq. km is covered under the national park which is also a tiger reserve. This reserve has a good population of the Royal Bengal tiger which was once on the edge of extinction. You will see different species of animals, birds, plants and lakes here. Enjoy the Jungle Safari and click some amazing shots of the animals wandering fearless in their natural habitat. After the safari you can visit the Ranthambore Fort that is situated near the entrance of the Park and although only a few remains are left, it is a World Heritage Site under UNESCO. Night in Ranthambore.
Day 6: Transfer to Jaipur (180 kms)
Spend the morning in leisure and then pack your baggage to transfer to Jaipur which is the next destination of the Tour. On reaching the Pink City, you will check in the hotel and after some rest transfer to Choki Dhani to enjoy the rich Rajasthani culture and food.
Day 7: Excursion in Jaipur
After overnight rest in the hotel, begin the day’s excursion with the visit to Amber Fort. One of the most famous forts of the World, it is a World Heritage Site under the Hill Forts of Rajasthan list by UNESCO. Enjoy elephant ride to the fort premises, then head to the old Jaipur or the Pink City and watch the majestic Palace of Winds called the Hawa Mahal. Then visit Jantar Mantar and Birla Temple. In the evening you will be taken for visit to the Albert Hall Museum now called as Central Museum. Then return to the hotel and rest overnight.
Day 8: Transfer to Delhi for Departure
On the eighth day of the Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore you will travel to Delhi from to catch your onward flight to your home marking the end of the Tour.
