Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi commences with your arrival in Delhi where you will meet Tour Waves representative and he will transfer you to the hotel. Relax in the hotel and enjoy delicious dinner at night.
Day 2: Excursion in Delhi
Excursion of Delhi begins from Delhi, the national capital. Explore old Delhi in the morning visiting Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb then visit the monuments in New Delhi that are India Gate, Lotus Temple and Akshardham Temple.
Day 3: Transfer to Jaipur (240 kms)
In the morning you can visit Qutub Minar, the World Heritage Site was built in Mehrauli (old Delhi), the 72 meters high monument and its surrounding buildings are World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO as the Qutub Complex. Then drive to the next destination Jaipur. On reaching Jaipur check in the hotel and relax. In the evening take a walk in the local markets of Jaipur that are packed with series of shops selling variety of handmade products including footwear, blue pottery, jewellery, garments, wooden showpieces, peacock design jewellery and much more. You can also choose to visit Choki Dhani in the evening.
Day 4: Excursion in Jaipur
Start exploring the monuments in Pink City after a delicious breakfast. First, drive to the Amer Fort and on the way visit the magnificent Jal Mahal. Enjoy elephant ride at the fort, then drive back to city via Hawa Mahal and reach Jantar Mantar, the century old observatory. Followed by this is visit to the City Palace of Jaipur reach the elegant building of Central Museum to watch a rich collection of artifacts and other items.
Day 5: Transfer to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (240 kms)
After breakfast you will travel to the next destination Agra. Agra is the home of the majestic white marble architectural prodigy Taj Mahal. The symbol of love Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. On the way to Agra you will visit the abandoned town of Fatehpur Sikri which was founded by Akbar on the advice of a Saint. Visit the Fatehpur Sikri Fort and watch the intricate works of the architects of that era. Continue drive to Agra after visit. Check into the hotel on reaching Agra and relax.
Day 6: Transfer to Varanasi (605 kms)
The sixth day of tour commences early in the morning. Enjoy the view of Taj Mahal at sunrise. Then march to Agra Fort after breakfast. Visit Pearl Mosque and Itmad-ud-Daulah after the fort visit and in the evening take your time and admire the beauty of the monument dedicated to true love of a king for her queen, the Taj Mahal. Transfer to Varanasi, the next destination through overnight train from Agra.
Day 7: Excursion in Varanasi
Early morning arrival in the spiritual city of Varanasi. Sail on a boat in River Ganga and watch the locals busy in their chores on different banks of Ganga in the serenity of environment. Near to Varanasi is Sarnath, a very important pilgrimage site of Buddhists. Visit the Dhamek, Chaukhandi Stupa and Sarnath Museum. In the evening enjoy the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, followed by visit to the temples like Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Nepali Temple etc. Rest at night in the hotel.
Day 8: Transfer to Delhi for departure
On the Eighth day of the Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi 8 Days 7 Nights you will travel to Delhi from Varanasi by flight and catch your onward flight marking the end of the Tour.
